Field and collection operations.
Boat operators and coastal field workers who can collect sargassum in open water before it reaches shore. Florida, the Gulf Coast, or the Caribbean. Experience on the water matters more than anything else here. If you know how to work in open-water conditions and you are reliable, we want to talk before anyone else.
Biological systems in marine environments.
Experience with biological processes in high-salinity or open-ocean conditions. Applied work, not just theory. The specific application is under NDA but the environment is marine and the conditions are not controlled.
Analytical chemistry.
Instrument access, analytical services, or connections to labs that run ICP-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, or adjacent methods on marine biomass. If you can analyze what we collect or connect us to someone who can, we want to know you.
Bioprocess engineering.
Scale-up discipline, reactor design, separation and purification. The kind of engineering background that knows the difference between a result and a process.
IP and patent strategy.
Patent filing, NDA design, pre-patent disclosure discipline. Small company, significant process detail. This is not a backburner need.
Coastal community and regional relationships.
Relationships with tourism operators, municipal authorities, or community groups in regions where sargassum is a serious problem. The connective tissue that makes field work actually possible.
